You should receive one in the mail on Tuesdays. I would ask your neighbors or mail carrier for extra?
Coupondiva.com has a printable RedPlum insert
I’ve purchased the Everett Herald through our Monroe store for two weeks, with no Red Plum or Smart Saver coupons…actually no coupons except for Albertsons, etc…. The papers are now held behind the counter, so I know that they haven’t been taken… I’m reluctant to order the subscription to the Herald that I had been planning for…any thoughts? How can I get the RP and SS, inserts? Which paper do I get…
The heralds contract ended with Redplum and they are no longer carrying the insert
If you live in snohomish we can’t get it in any paper unfortunately
Thank you for replying so quickly…glad I didn’t order a subscription as I had been thinking to order, receiving 5 papers each Sunday…Does the Sea Times carry RP?…and SS? Can’t remember? What is a good option for me for the RP, SS and P&G each week? Thank you again…
Still wondering if you have a suggestion regarding newspaper subscriptions…for RP, SS and P&G inserts? Snohomish County…
Unfortunately, it appears that those of us in Snohomish co. can no longer get the red plum except through the mailers once a week. Herald will still have the ss and p&g when they come.
and seattle times does not have rp either
I just wrote the following email to Red Plum:
Greetings!
I was just informed by my local paper, “The Everett Herald,” that they will no longer be carrying the Red Plum ads in their paper on Sundays. Needless to say, I was quite concerned by this news. I LOVE the Red Plum circulars, and appreciate all of the money saving offers inside. I have a great deal of fun combing through the coupons in search of products to buy for my family.
Therefore, I am requesting that the RED PLUM coupon circulars be included with all future Sunday “Everett Herald” newspapers. Please?!!!
Thank you,
(I’m hoping that if enough of us contact them, the Sunday inserts will return.)
This is a general comment to all fellow couponers out there. I live in a small town, Arlington. For 5 weeks now I have went or had someone go to get a few newspapers out of a paperbox in town or at a store, and this is the 5th week NONE of my coupons are in any of the papers I bought!!!!! This is so frustrating. We all want to have and use these coupons. This is simply rude and unfair of you ones that do this. Now my coupon supply is down to about nothing because of this. Yes maybe I should get the paper delivered, however to come up with that much money for the paper at one time is alot for me. The only people this could be taking the coupons is couponers. So shame on you whoever you are!!!!! Im so frustrated with this I could just scream!!!!! We all enjoy saving so let us!!!!!
This has happened to me several times so I contacted The Herald and was told that coupon inserts are only guaranteed to those with subscriptions. So the papers that go out to the stores and boxes get “left over” inserts and sometimes there aren’t enough to go around.
Sheila,
I live in Arlington as well and this has happened to me more times than I can count. It is very frustrating, a few Sundays ago I went down to the Herald box by the Blue Bird and there were no papers in there at all. I stopped by around 8am and someone had already raided all the papers. Unfortunately it happens every Sunday.

The Tacoma News Tribune just raised their home delivery rates to $1.25 for the Sunday paper! The prices change January 1st. I am wondering now if it will just be better to go back to the dollar store to get my papers? It is so nice to have the delivery on Sunday. I am trying to consider if it will be worth the extra $3 dollars a month, I think it just might be!
Thanks to each of you regarding my concerns about not getting the Red Plum. Brian, I will write a letter to Red Plum as well. Thank you for your letter. Sheila, Debra, Melissa…I UNDERSTAND…this has happened to me as well! Think we’ll need to get a subscription to the Everett Herald to be guanteed our coupons. Grateful for this website and that we can think and inspire one another…helpful!!!
For those folks in Arlington trying to get Sunday papers with coupons, if the boxes are raided, why don’t you just go to the newspaper office and get it from there?
And it’s true, SUBSCRIBERS get FIRST PRIORITY with the ad inserts and coupons, then the remaining bundles go to the stores. Its according to how many each company orders, and which stores are in your area.
I wanted the Seattle PI delivered to my Bremerton address across the water, and they purposely removed ads to the stores that were not in Kitsap County (GI JOES, REI, etc). After many complaints, it went nowhere and I cancelled. The Seattle Times promised me ads, but I said forget it. I didn’t want to experience the disappointments and hassels anymore. I can look at ALL of the store ads on the internet for free and eliminate the paper waste!
There is a daily deals website specifically for discount newspaper subscriptions at: http://www.newspaperdeals.com
I ordered a subscription last week and received it this morning. Forget paying cover price, LOL!
