Even with the adjustments to the Amazon Mom program there are still diaper deals to be found that are better than Costco. For example: Huggies Snug & Dry Diapers, Size 4, 140 Count are running at $0.18 each shipped when you Subscribe & Save and “clip” the $2 off coupon. Plus, if you stack that with a Swagbucks card, you’re really doing well!
You are an angel! My hubby is gone for a month and I was just wondering if a diaper run to costco would be worth it.
Something to keep in mind though- Costco often has either the Huggies or the KS diapers on a coupon, which knocks another $5-6 off the price. We just always buy whichever is on coupon, then I’m one step ahead by not getting close to running out! Same with the wipes 🙂
I just wanted to let you know that the costco deals are not that bad if you wait until their coupons come out. They just recently had a coupon for $6 off huggies diapers. Which currently I am buying size 4 diapers which put them at .17 each. Not a bad deal for me!
Yep! Those coupons are great when they have them! 🙂
Which Costco was this? I found that sometimes different Costco sells them at different prices, when I was buying diapers I seem to remember that the business Costco was cheaper than a regular costco.
A friend of mine’s husband works at the Lynnwood Business Center and they were no more or less expensive. I was at the Everett Costco this time. 🙂 You may, however, find a slight change in prices depending on the region or state your are in.
Also consider that the tax rate you pay in Everett is higher than in Woodinville, not sure about what rate you pay on Amazon though! Every penny counts, right?
Thank you so much for this list! From what I understand, the Kirkland diapers are extremely similiar to Huggies (made by them?), and since Huggies is my brand of choice, I was interested in trying the Kirkland brand. It turns out I get much better deals on the Huggies brand through my couponing, so I guess I will keep this in mind in case I run out and there are no other deals to be had! You saved me a wasted trip to the store! Thanks!
We just went to Costco this weekend and saw that the Huggies boxes contain less diapers now. It used to be 200 in a size 4 box now it’s 180. With the $6 coupon it still came out a better deal than amazon for me at least. I think the size 3 is now 210 a box. So went online to see if any info on this but haven’t found any yet. I’m in NYC btw.
