Day 2 Advocare 24 Day Challenge | Uh oh Bridal Shower with Chocolate Cake!
I remember before I started the challenge I was trying to figure out and plan 24 days when I didn’t have a party, BBQ or an event to attend. Fact is – I don’t think it’s possible unless you want to be a hermit. I started in November – Do you know what happens in November?? Turkey, Gravy and stuffing?! November is followed by December. We had a lot of activities going on during those months- Christmas parties, chocolate covered peanut butter balls – I probably saved myself from consuming an extra 20,000 in calories if not more. The best compliment I received during that time was from a girl in my Zumba class- I was too busy to go and when she saw me again she says “DID you actually lose weight during the holidays!”
Oh and can I confess something? Many times I will get the OH your doing another challenge (eyes roll back in head)- so you can’t have this or that. As much as I try to explain that it’s really not about the challenge itself, and I am not on some crazy diet but have changed my lifestyle. I feel 100% better when I don’t eat Dairy, Soy, and Wheat. I wish I had the excuse to say sorry, but I am allergic. People understand that.
Day 2 Burn Day
Before Breakfast – Take 1st packet of MNS, 3 Catalyst, 2 Thermoplus and Spark
Breakfast – Meal Replacement Shake
30 Minutes Before Lunch: other vitamin packets, 3 catalyst & Spark
Lunch – 5oz Valley Fresh Chicken Breast, 1/2 Avocado smashed, 1 Cup Spinach Chopped & diced bell peppers – few dashes of Franks Red Hot
I was away from the house for a bit and I had another round of Almonds
Dinner – Taco Salad – 5oz Ground Turkey seasoned with Salt Free Mexican Seasoning – Chopped Lettuce and Spinach, diced peppers and green onion. Topped with Trader Joes Salsa & lime juice
Cup of tea
Exercise – none.. but I am going to start reading the material for this
INSANITY: 60-Day Total Body Conditioning Workout DVD Program (Amazon.com) I was able to borrow the program from a friend. I have been able to complete p90x, so I hope I can at least make it through this, but I hear it’s REALLY REALLY Hard – but so is raising kids – so I got this! I am planning on starting on the 11th.
