Are the up+ rewards the same as RR at Wags?

Reply

Sheryl February 18, 2012 at 4:12 pm

Pretty much they are the same thing.

Reply

DeAnna February 18, 2012 at 4:33 pm

They are the same in that they print once the correct purchases are made. However, the UP rewards can be used on the same items you purchased them for, so in that sense they are “rolling”. For example, if you purchased a toothpaste and received an UP for it, you could use that UP to pay for the next toothpaste and still receive another UP. HTH.

They also are not manufacturer coupons like Wag’s RR, so you can use as many of them as you want on one item as long as the price of the item is higher than the value.

Thanks for helping out Kelly!

I think the toothbrush coupon is expired for this deal. :(

DeAnna February 18, 2012 at 5:14 pm

Expires today. Just saw that. Darn.

Tracey February 18, 2012 at 5:14 pm

I was just going to ask the same question. I just received my $10 +Up from my advil purchases. Looked at the receipt and didn’t see where it said I had reached my maximum UP’s for that deal. Hoping limit is more than one. :)

Reply

Kim February 18, 2012 at 6:31 pm

I believe the limit is 4.

I am looking at the ad scan and I am not finding the details on the $10 back for purchasing $25. Can anyone help?

Reply

Kim February 18, 2012 at 8:05 pm

@Kristina It’s a month long deal. I don’t think its in the ad, but you will see it in the stores.

I’m new to RA. Can I buy these all in the same transaction? Or do I have to split them up to get the +up rewards for all of them?

Reply

Staci February 18, 2012 at 10:52 pm

You can buy them all in one transaction because the ups are all for different items and the $10 up is for buying it all in one transaction. That is how I understand it. Hope it helps! Also fabulous name and spelling!

Staci February 19, 2012 at 7:52 am

Thanks! I will try it out! & for a minute I thought I had posted twice! LOL! Great name! ;)

Reply

Kelly February 19, 2012 at 6:13 pm

One of the things I had learned recently at Rite Aid is you can only get the maximum up rewards per offer no matter how many transactions you do. I bought an item that had a limit of one up reward and then a few days later tried to buy another one and it wouldn’t print :(

Reply

Valerie February 19, 2012 at 8:22 am

Actually the 10 ups wyb 25 is tracking, so technically you can do it in seperate purchases. You would only need to do this if you wanted to lower your oop. But to use the ups you would need to wait until the second day to do the second transaction. Good luck finding the items on the shelf on a second day:)

Luckily I’m in pdx! ;)

I’m confused…you get $30 back, and you pay $23.45 AFTER coupons and somehow that equals $8.40??

I’m getting $6.55 with my calculator LOL

is the new up redemption system for vancouver/portland area also??
soo, it will show on the bottom of my reciept and i can use them til the following day? I have a rite aid card but have not done anything yet. do i need to do that before i shop?

Tracy February 19, 2012 at 4:39 am

Portland is still on old….mine still asked tonight if I wanted to do multiple transactions to roll my ups. I don’t usually though, it’s easier for me to do week to week. Most rite aids will walk you through everything, just pay attention that you recieve the ups that you are expecting on the bottom of the reciept. It is easier to fix right then. Like tonight I did the colgate deal and my 10.00 one printed but not all the ones for the toothpaste and brushes. They just credited it back to me in cash. (shopped too close to midnight.) Also sometimes you just pick up the wrong product. HTH

Tracy February 19, 2012 at 4:42 am

re read your question…there is a date on the ups as to when they expire…usually a couple weeks. The next day thing people are talking about is technically you are not supposed to use your ups until 6 am the next day. In Portland most still don’t care. Good luck it gets easier.

Reply

Heather February 19, 2012 at 11:12 am

In WA oiur ups go on our card and are not able to be used until the next day. They no longer print for use on our receipt. We are “test” area for the new program.

found this in centsableshoppin: [from 1/29 SS]

Rebate Details: Get a $5 rebate when you buy $10 of Colgate, Palmolive, Lady Speed Stick, Irish Spring, Suavitel, Fabuloso, Caprice, Speed Stick, Ajax, and Softsoap products between 1/30 and 3/15.

The rebate stipulates that purchase must be made 01/30 – 03/15, and you must purchase items in one transaction to qualify.

I am guessing it is available through a clipping service if you didn’t get it?

rebecca February 19, 2012 at 3:12 pm

Meryl, thx for the info. I didn’t find anything in my ss. Do you have to have the rebate form in order to submit for payment, or can you simply mail in your receipt?

Kim February 19, 2012 at 10:57 am

Where can I get a colgate coupon? I can’t find any online.

Reply

Kiki February 19, 2012 at 11:14 am

We received the $10 up+ reward with just buying the free colgate toothpaste today paired with last week’s Thermacare. So we must have met the $25 purchase limit and we just didn’t notice that it was tracking on our receipt. It was an unexpected bonus with the free toothpaste!!

Reply

Kiki February 19, 2012 at 11:15 am

Another bonus was that the Colgate counts towards your Winter Rewards!! I love it!!

Meryl February 19, 2012 at 11:37 am

1/29 SS regional inserts only. I just read at southerncalisaver people are doing the deal now with 3 toothbrushes and 5 toothpastes- my RA only lets me use 4 coups, ok!

Reply

melissa allmon February 19, 2012 at 11:55 am

Just did this and got $4 rewards instead of $3.50!

Reply

Lisa February 19, 2012 at 2:13 pm

ME TOO!! Mine says “colgne spray” on them. Does yours? Isn’t that wierd?? We must have bought the exact same items. :)

Reply

Jade February 19, 2012 at 5:17 pm

I got the same thing. I think their system is all screwed up right now. But mine says Colonge $4 UPs, when I purchased the Colgate toothpaste.

Reply

Jennifer February 19, 2012 at 9:51 pm

mine did that also. But it only used one of my up from last week. I had a $2 up from the pot of gold and it did not use it, and my total was well above the $2 ups.

Reply

paulette February 19, 2012 at 2:18 pm

did the 4 colgate and 5 toothbrushes. Recieved, 4/$4 ups, 4/$1.50 ups and $10 up! Definitely a moneymaker!

Reply

Lisa February 19, 2012 at 2:34 pm

Did your $4 ups say “colgne spray” by any chance? Mine did! :)

Reply

Jeanette February 19, 2012 at 4:25 pm

Lisa, mine did too! I thought was a little odd.

Reply

JoAnne February 19, 2012 at 8:50 pm

Yep, my $4 +Ups say for cologne spray, too. Weird, but I’ll take it.

Reply

Tara February 19, 2012 at 5:57 pm

Mine turned out exactly the same only I got a few extra toothbrushes because they were on clearance and rang up at $1.12!!!

lindsey February 19, 2012 at 3:44 pm

Can anyone please let me know how i can see my +up rewards online? I went to riteaid.com and logged in and I don’t see anything. An answer to this question would be greatly appreciated!
thank you.

Sheryl February 19, 2012 at 6:52 pm

I think the UP’s do not show to your account until the next day. If after midnight on east coast and I live on west then I can see them after 9 PM same day since it is next day in Rite-Aid HQ on east coast.

Reply

Jennifer February 19, 2012 at 9:53 pm

i think there website is having problems, I have not been able to view my ups from earlier this week.

Reply

lindsey February 20, 2012 at 11:56 am

where do you go to view them? I log into the rite aid website and it doesn’t mention anything about it. can someone give me step-by-step instructions please?

Reply

Chip February 21, 2012 at 11:42 am

I found it by logging into my account then going to the banner (or section) on the page that says LOAD2CARD. Once there, I clicked on the tab that reads My Coupons. It will then show your UP Rewards loaded to the cards. That being said, I guess I will have to call Customer Service because I should have received $22 in UP Rewards from my trip on Sunday but there is only $14 showing. Not sure I care for this system but I will try to be patient.

Great deal! Thanks for posting Amber!!! I was worried I was too late but I was able to do this this morning! And was able to roll the $30 I got back on the reading glasses deal from last week! I didn’t even know it worked!! I thought I was only getting 15 up according to my receipt!
