2012 Fitness Update – Met my goal and onto new ones!
It’s been awhile since I have updated you on my 2012 fitness goals. I am happy to say that I am now in my Chip & Pepper jeans, they fit so good- I have a 3-5lb window! I will spare you the sports bra & shorts pictures this time around as I am sure you have seen too much of that. I’m proud of myself. My whole outlook on food and what I am consuming really has changed. I like what I eat and I like how it makes me feel.
Now I know some of you cringe when you hear the word diet. I am not on a diet – well not in the negative sense. I am consuming foods that do my body good, instead of feeling sluggish and tired. Yes on occasion I will eat a french fry or nachos (I can’t say I feel good when I do), but for the most part I stick to a nondairy, wheat free routine. Paleo.
Here are just some of the things I eat (click the picture for recipes):
It looks good and it taste good!
Now what I also love are the Advocare Vitamins. I started out just wanting to lose weight because as my blog grew so did my booty! My friend had been doing/selling Advocare for years and she had some amazing results so I joined and did the 24-Day Challenge. The average person looses 10/lb -and 10″ (total, not just waist) on the program. What I didn’t expect to happen was how my mood changed. The MNS vitamins helped me feel like Amber again. I had energy and felt spunky, I am happy! Something I couldn’t kick after I had my last baby – after baby blues if you will. Now here I am, 6 months later and still lovin’ the product and loving how I feel!
As for total weight loss - I try to make it a habit NOT to weigh myself. I think it does more damage than good. Jeans pictured below – Adult Size 4 Chip & Pepper
Now what next?
