Buy 2 Betty Crocker Peanut Butter Cookies $2.00 Each

The Q is $1 off 2 … how are you using 2 TTV ??

Reply

Cyndi December 2, 2011 at 8:46 pm

Calder, the deal doesn’t use (2) TTV’s, just 1. You will double $1/2 coupon which equals $2/2. The cookie mixes are $2.00/each or $4.00 total. $4 – $2 = $2 (or $1.00 each mix) plus the free Kisses. Hope that helps!

Yes, the math is correct … I was just pointing out that the description should say Use 1 TTV …

Buy 2 Betty Crocker Peanut Butter Cookies $2.00 Each
Use $1.00/2 any flavor 17.5 OZ. OR LARGER Betty Crocker® Cookie Mixes
or $1/2 Betty Crocker Cookies
Use (2) Twice the Value Coupons coming Sunday
Final Price: $1.00 for cookies + Free Hershey’s

I was wondering the same thing. Was confused with the 2 TTV’s

Also…
I found a coupon for 1.00 off 2 hershey’s kisses. Could I buy 4 cookie pouches and 2 hershey kisses bags and use (2) $1/2 cookie coupons and (1) $1/2 hershey kisses coupons and 3 TTV’s bringing my total to 2.00 for 4 cookie pouches and 2 bags of hershey’s kisses?

Anyone see a limit?

Jenn December 3, 2011 at 6:29 pm

No you couldn’t because the Kisses are free, so that would be overage, which Albertsons doesn’t allow.

rebecca December 5, 2011 at 10:40 am

check with your albertsons store to see if they would allow this. My store allows this. In fact my favorite checker told me about the deal when I walked in the store so I would know I could use the hershey kiss coupon in addition to the betty crocker coupon for a better deal.

Hi Amber, I left you a comment in another post but it seems to have disappeared. There is a new coupon that my daughter and I found(tear pad)….save $1.00 when you buy both Hershey’s Kisses and any one Betty Crocker cookie mix. (this coupon is put out by Hershey) Conceivably couldn’t you use this toward your free kisses and one of the cookie pouches THEN use another coupon for the other cookie pouch (we have .50 off one BC Cookies peelies) If this were to work then the final price after doubles would be $1.00 for all 3 items.

The only way this coupon would work with the $1/2 is if it says Save $1.00 on Hershey’s wyb Betty Crocker Cookies. Otherswise it is attaching to both products :)

Do Albertsons TTV deals really start on 12/3 (Saturday) this time? It should be 12/4, correct? Since we don’t get the paper since Sunday.

Yes Autumn, Doublers start on Sunday – 12/4 to 12/6.

I get my Sunday papers on Saturday and go shopping at midnight Saturday night or 12:01 Sunday AM. Love doing it this way because I don’t have to deal with the rush and there are always full shelves.

What is the “Get Moving Booklet” and where can we find it? :-)

I am confused at how the evaporated milk would be only .25?

Reply

yvonne December 3, 2011 at 10:16 am

I was just thinking the same thing. Shouldn’t it be $0.50 each?

jennie December 3, 2011 at 8:52 pm

Glad I wasn’t the only one. Thought I was missing something. :)

Snyder Pretzel pieces and sandwiches are $3.79; these are not on sale and not a particularly good deal with a $1 q and doublers.

The Reynolds Baking cups on sale are the seasonal ones. Not sure if this is considered a Baked just for you staybright product which is the .50 coupon. Can anyone confirm?

I was wondering if anyone knew if they were going to doubles again next week????

I am also not seeing chex cereal in the ad, only chex mix. Is this an unadvertised price?

Reply

Amber December 4, 2011 at 6:06 pm

I just bought it today it is part of the sale

Reply

Jens December 4, 2011 at 7:16 pm

At my Albs today they had smaller boxes of Chex as well as the 12.8 oz size. I bought the larger boxes.

Reply

Brie December 4, 2011 at 7:39 pm

I was able to get the large boxes too!

There’s an in-ad Albertsons coupon today for Campbell’s Chunky Soup 4 for $5, plus a $1/4 manu in today’s SS. With a doubler that’s 4 cans for $3 or $0.75 each – not a bad price.

Reply

Annie December 4, 2011 at 2:19 pm

FYI – that would be using 2 Albertsons coupons for one product – so be careful – it may work (I used to do this with yogurt) but sometimes it won’t and I’m not clear on whats “right” here either.

Stacie December 4, 2011 at 9:29 pm

I did this transaction too. Got 20 cans(did 5 transactions).

I have the 11/6/11 RP. I see the 35 cent off pillsbury brownies coupon but there’s no $1/2. Help anyone?

Reply

Brie December 4, 2011 at 7:38 pm

Must have been a regional coupon that the Seattle area didn’t get…I didn’t have it either.

Did anyone have luck with the Muir tomato sauce? I got to the checkstand and it wasn’t on sale :-(

Reply

Nicole December 4, 2011 at 8:13 pm

I saw the same thing on the Muir tomato sauce. I also went to look at the snyder pretzels. they were 2/$4 or 2 for/$6. Even with the coupons and doubler’s you would wind up paying $1 out of pocket…..not sure how how to get free…glad I didnt try the Muir sauce….bummer

Albies has Hormel chili for $1.50/per can. Used $1.00off/2 after doubled it made them .50 each. Not a bad deal.

Reply

Ivana December 4, 2011 at 10:07 pm

Hey all!

I tried to buy the Hormel ham today. Thought it was $5.99 EACH, so I bought the bigger ones. I later realized that it was $5.99 per pound (and Amber advised to buy the 2 lbs… my bill came out high… oh well, that’s fine, I guess.

My questions is how does Albertson’s work with BOGOs and coupons? Because Amber also said to use TWO Hormel coupons, but my cashier will not let me. She said I can’t use a coupon on a free item.

I can’t find a confirmation on this anywhere, so I was wondering if any of you can shed light on this.

Thanks!

Liz December 5, 2011 at 11:28 am

I think it’s up to the store manager to decide if you can or cannot use it on the free item. I have been allowed at one store and not at another.

Sizwizz December 6, 2011 at 6:34 am

Do you get the Albertson’s Holiday Coupon Book at their stores? And I didn’t get the Snyders pretzel coupon in my SS insert. I’ve looked twice! In fact, many times I see these good deals listed, and I didn’t have the corresponding coupons in my inserts. I’m in Salem, OR.

I won’t be using my Twice the Value coupons (3 of them) tonight. If anyone lives on/near Union Hill (in Redmond), you would be welcome to them. Let me know. Hate to waste them.

I was at Albertsons today and overheard the cashiers saying NO TTV coupons this Sunday :(
