I was so excited I was looking and the international creamer coupon is for a quart. The ones on sale for $2 are a pint. Doesn’t look like they will work.

P.s. sorry to be a bummer.

The butter coupon link doesn’t work. Can’t seem to find the smucker’s jam coupon either?

Reply

Mary December 15, 2011 at 11:42 pm

Found the jam one at the zip code she mentioned. Jar looks different so I didn’t see it at first.

Fixed the butter coupon. The jam should be a direct link

Oh how I hope so! – I only get one paper so those TTV printables on Facebook make for an even better shopping trip for me. Come on, Albies! The couponers have spoken! We want printables! Time to deliver! :]

There are blinkie .75 Challenge Butter coupons out now. Not as good as the $1 one that is NLA, but still a good deal.

Thanks Amber, great list. Now all I need is the doublers. Have been shut out the last two times since people are taking them out of the papers and such. Once again, greedy people ruin it for those of us just trying to stretch our dollars. I only do one, or sometimes two sets of doublers each time they are out. That is, if I can even get them. :(

That is frustrating. I usually use 1-2 sets…however the last doubler week a woman in line in front of me gave me an extra set she wasn’t going to use, which was really nice :)

I am NOT convinced that they are always stolen -sometimes the paper delivery people just don’t have enough for all the papers they deliver or perhaps there was an error in stuffing the papers. I have purchased papers at the dollar store which have still been bound together with the ties clasped by the newspaper people. Many of these DO NOT include Albies doublers in them and many are missing coupon inserts. Always, always, always check your papers for inserts and doublers before you purchase. (I confess that I when I go to pick up a free paper at the library, I never know what to do. I don’t care about the paper itself…should I pull the coupons/Albies doublers and leave the paper for someone else to enjoy or should I take the whole thing and toss everything but what I want? I’ve done both and feel guilty no matter what.)

Just a reminder to everybody: the pasta coupon doesn’t need a doubler (and can’t be doubled.) What I’m loving about this coupon is the fact that whole wheat pasta is included (that’s all we eat and I usually have to buy it at full price. DH won’t put up with whole grain.)

The Kashi puffed cereal is on clearance at 196th in Lynnwood for $1.69 so free with overage if you use the $2 recyclebank coupon. The cereal is not marked that way on the shelf (but the identical ones on the clearance shelf were priced that way and all of them scan at $1.69.)

The International Delight creamer is $2.23 on sale at the Albies on 124th in South Everett, not 2/$4. But if you double the $1 off coupon, 23 cents still isn’t bad!

On the butter coupon it says on the top ” Do Not Double”

Reply

Rhonda December 19, 2011 at 4:57 pm

I think the answer I’ve seen for this type of question is, you aren’t doubling the coupon you are using a twice the value coupon which is not the same.
