Yeah, that’s a huge list. Wish it were easier to use more TTV’s. Thanks!

The Dole fruit coupon says “jars” and isn’t the sale on the cans so do you think that they would take the coupons? Also, you didn’t mention that if you buy 4 that you get a $1 catalina.

Reply

heather November 5, 2011 at 2:51 pm

Last week I use the dole “jar” coupons for canned pineapple and the took them and doubled them. It may just be the cashier. And it was the cashier that scrutinizes EVERY coupon you give.

I was excited for getting pineapple for 29 cents a can. Now it is a money maker!! WAHOO!!!

Buy 4 and get $1 catalina

Use 2 $1/2 coupons
Use 2 TVC

Should be $1 money maker if I did my math right.

Charity November 4, 2011 at 2:03 am

Id the pineapple is on sale for a 1.00 each and if you buy 2 that would be 2.00. The coupon is 1.00 off 2 so if you double it- wouldnt that make it free?

Reply

heather November 7, 2011 at 5:32 pm

yep FREE pineapple this week!

Anybody from Vancouver? I am planning on going today, and hope there are some good deals left out of this list! Anyone else know if the shelves are cleared yet down here? ;)

Thank you!

And thank you for this awesome list. I LOVE how you can select what you want, and print it out. BRILLIANT

BTW, where can you get more of the Double Coupon’s from? I have the insert from the Paper yesterday, but am trying to find more. I am new to this…OBVIOUSLY! hehe

Reply

Dawn W. November 4, 2011 at 6:44 am

you cannot double till sunday and you have to get newspappers to get the special inserts. You should read the rules and stuff it might help your shopping trip. Only 3 doublers per transaction, Limit 3 transactions at one time. I have spent up to 6 hours in the lines to get all my transactions done. Just thought I would give you a idea what its like.

Reply

Amber November 4, 2011 at 8:13 am

These will come in the Sunday Paper on 11/6. The only way to get more is to have more papers. I am not sure what area you are in, but here is the list of newspaper deals http://couponconnections.com/newspaper-deals/ Each sheet has 3 separate Twice the value coupon and you can use them with manufactures coupons.

Reply

Jerrilynn November 4, 2011 at 8:50 am

It’s easier to plan your trip if you get the early Sunday edition newspapers on Saturday so that you can cut out your ttvs and have each transaction organized for Sunday morning. Also, if you want to get the deals, it’s best to be there when the store opens:-)

Reply

Christina November 4, 2011 at 11:07 pm

If you get the early edition of the paper is it still only 1$?

Reply

Jerrilynn November 5, 2011 at 12:25 am

In Portland, the Sunday ed is $2 on Sat or Sun.

There are no $1 off coupons available for Jamba juice. I thought I would let you know. Also I have a question. When you buy 4 TGI meals for 8 dollars, and you get back a $4 dollar catalina, can I roll this catalina and use it to buy four more on the next order.

Reply

marie November 6, 2011 at 11:27 am

I just bought 4 TGI meals. Paid 1.00 and got a 4.00 catalina.. there is a coupon for 1.00 of a meal, so i used 4 of them.

Reply

colleen November 6, 2011 at 11:50 am

Yes you can I did it before the doublers on Thursday as I wanted to make sure there’d be product. If you wait til today it actually becomes a moneymaker…

I used my free Idahoan potatoes and it printed out a other Catalina for another free one! I also got a $1/4 Idahoan Catalina as well. Both exp 12/27! :-D

I’m a little confused on the Febreeze items. if I am understanding this correctly, you need to purchase 5 items and will get 5 dollars off instantly. if each item is $1.99, and if you buy 5 it would make your total $10. then you could use (1) $3/3 q and (2) $1/1 coupons with out the double and everything would be freee. wouldnt the 5 dollars instant savings come off up front? you wouldn’t even need to use .your doubles. Right? someone please correct me if this is incorrect. thank you muc in the same transaction. also if there was any overage, could be applied to your other groceries

Reply

Tasha November 4, 2011 at 4:31 pm

They’re $1.99 AFTER the $5 off so using 1x $3/3 & 2x $1/1 would only get you $5 of the $9.95 total off. You could use 2 TTV’s & make your final total $2.95 for all 5 items though.

Albie’s doesn’t do overage – sometimes you’ll get a cashier that will use the whole $1 for an item costing $1.99 making it free plus $0.01 overage, but I wouldn’t count on it. :O)

angie November 6, 2011 at 6:09 pm

Well I went to alby’s and didn’t get the 5.00 off of my febreeze order. I used (5) 1.00 coupons. I used (3) ttv coupons and the (2) 1.00 by them selves. I notice that you are only aloud 4 alike items, well they accepted the coupons for 5 item. Later the next day I went back and got 15.00 dollars back after they have messed up. I got 8.00 dollars off and the 5.00 instant off too. It really depend on who you go to. I don’t like this at all. Hope this helped.

Reply

angie November 6, 2011 at 6:10 pm

I had 3 orders that they have messed up on.

Charity November 4, 2011 at 6:53 pm

Last Sunday when they had the Frebreze deal the register wasnt wanting to take off the $5 dollars so the cashier had to enter it. It left a 5 cent overage. Come to find out that he was the store manager and stated that he doesnt price adjust because they are still getting the full coupon value back.

Off the subject, but with stores not giving you overage isnt that like stealing from us- meaning for example the Snapware that was on sale at Fred Meyers for $1.99 for the small one and the coupon was for $3.00 off, Fred Meyers will still get $3.00 plus 8cents back when they submit the coupons, so in theory if they let us apply the overage to other products they arent losing any money at all. Just confused in how they can get away with that.

Reply

Erin November 5, 2011 at 9:07 pm

Charity ~
My Fred Meyers rolled the extra over… When the coupon was scanned, it scanned for $3… I went in with 20 coupons, bought 20 pieces, and got $60 off my bill. The cashier didn’t have a choice weather or not he wanted to roll it over. :)

Sad to say, I don’t believe we are getting the Nestle Morsels $1/2 coupons in the Redplum this week. I think it is a regional coupon. I got the “early” edition Redplum and it wasn’t there:(

Reply

Mariah November 5, 2011 at 10:14 am

I was able to print a $1/2 Nestle morsels coupon from their website (I don’t have the link, but got it through my e-mail).

Reply

Nichole Smith November 7, 2011 at 10:39 am

I live in Tacoma. We get a Red Plum in the mail on wednesdays, and then we get another one in the Sunday TNT. The two red plums, for the same week are always so different. In my mailer RP, I did get the nestle coupon. In my TNT RP, I did not. I’m not sure why they are so different, even in the same area. My mom brings me a Seattle Times every week – the coupons there are different too. I would suggest buying one of a different local paper than what you usually buy. It might be in there.

Last week the mgr. at my Albies said I can only do 3 trans with my TTV’s. To make sure I heard correctly I said, “You mean three TTV’s per trans right?” and the answer back was, “No only 3 trans using TTV’s.”
I went to another store and did 4 trans no problem. These inconsistencies really make it hard for us shoppers.

Reply

Kim November 5, 2011 at 10:47 am

Oh my point being be aware of the rules b4 you go. :)

Reply

Dianne November 5, 2011 at 2:03 pm

According to Albertson’s coupon policy you are only allowed to do three transactions using TTV coupons per trip. He was only following the rules set by corporate.

Reply

Lisa November 6, 2011 at 1:28 am

The following is from the Albertsons’ official coupon policy: “In an effort to serve our all customers better than our competitors, and provide a timely checkout, Albertsons requests that customers do not exceed three (3) consecutive transactions. There is no mention of three transactions per trip.

Reply

colleen November 6, 2011 at 11:52 am

The policy for Albies is to limit it to three transactions if there are customers waiting. If you go at a down time, I’ve been able to do as many as 4-6 transactions at one time… but they HAVE THE RIGHT to limit the # of transactions especially when it’s busy….

Reply

Kiki November 7, 2011 at 9:36 am

I really wish they would stick to this limit….Out at 6 am when my Alby’s opened and got behind 3 women together doing 14 transactions each, so the line was glacial. They were completely disorganized. After three transactions get back in line to be considerate of other shoppers….at least that’s what I do, but then again a lot of people are oblivious to other shoppers. Just venting…I’ll be on the lookout for them in future so I can avoid getting behind them in line :)

Is $1.50 for baking chocolate chips really a good stock up price for the northwest?

Reply

Christina November 5, 2011 at 11:57 pm

It’s a good price but I don’t think a stock up price. My WinCo has them for 1.98 each. I’ll be saving my doubler for something else!

Has anyone found the J&J first aid kits at their store? I looked in the travel/trial size section as well as by the bandaids and ointments but could not find them.

KARO SYRUP- look for the $1 off hang tags on the “LITE” version (33% less calories). Might check near the front of the store where they have special baking displays- that seems to be well stocked with karo syrups.

Sandra, I have a $2/2 K-cups in my 11/6 SS. I don’t do K-cups – and so I didn’t pay attention to the deal – but I hope this helps!!

The Super chill coupon for $1/2 in the thanksgiving booklet is only for tonic water, club soda, lemonade, or ready to drink teas, not the sodas. Still a good deal though! I plan on getting my tonic water for my Gin and tonics for the holidays!

Reply

Leia November 5, 2011 at 10:41 pm

Just a note, blue diamond coupons are in SS10/16 instead of RP 11/06. I’m not sure if this is just in my area or not (zip 98011).

The stars aligned this morning and my planned trip went off perfectly… even better then expencted! $61 worth of groceries for only $2.88 OOP and still a $1 catalina to use OYNO. Loving the money maker pineapple and TGI Fridays!!! Bummed the Crest wasn’t priced $1,49 at my store but I’m not complaining! I’ll get MM toothpaste at Rite Aid later!

Reply

Kiki November 7, 2011 at 9:40 am

Way to go, Desiree! I loved your comment about getting the Crest later. It seems like every other week one of the drug stores has a Crest freebie deal. We get some for our stockpile and can generously give from our toothpaste stockpile to charities. Definitely will never ever pay for toothpaste again!

I have a question does the crest toothpaste become a money maker when you buy 5 & use the doublers?

Reply

Sharon November 7, 2011 at 10:47 am

You wouldn’t be able to use 5 doubler’s in one transaction would be the only catch. You can use up to 3 in one transaction. :)

Reply

Susi November 7, 2011 at 11:46 am

Thanks but I was wondering about the 5 instantly, would albertsons then let me double 3 $1 coupons b/c then it would be a mm. Just curious how that would work. Thx

I couldn’t find ANYTHING on my list today :( Redmond Albertson’s – no TGIF’s – shelf cleared, no tearpad coupons on Hungry Jack Pancake mix, no peelies on Quaker Oatmeal, no peelies on Quilted Northern.

margaret in seattle November 7, 2011 at 6:14 pm

alicia, go to woodinville store. they are out of all TGIs but you can do pre purchase, meaning, ring it up with your coupons and get your catalinas and come back to pick up your items when they have them back in stock. this store makes my life a lot easier when good deals are alll out by the time i have time to do my grocery shopping.

Reply

Sharon November 7, 2011 at 8:11 pm

I found the Bear Creek soup mixes 2 for $6 and I did doublers on the $1/1 coupons, making them $1 each. Seemed like a good deal since QFC has them for 4.99 each. In case anyone had more coupons to use.
