Amazon also had the Motorola Triumph on sale for $249.99 (usually $299.99), not the most amazing deal. The Samsung Intercept is on sale $74.99 (usually $149.99). I have the Intercept & paid the $299.99 price for it when it first came out… Decent phone for $74.99, not so much $299.99.
My husband & I do the $25/month Virgin Mobile deal (It’s now $35/month for 300 minutes & unlimited messaging/data) & compared the 1cent phone with 2-year contract vs. paying full-price on a no-contract phone… Yeah. We’re saving about $1400 by sticking with the no contract phones. That’s enough for a weekend-getaway…. Think I’d rather vacation with my mediocre smartphone then stay home with my top of the line one.
