Also I was just at Safeway and the Fresh Express Bonus packs are included in the $1.49 sale! Here is how to get 3 Free:

We can print from the magazine online and Safeway will accept it?
Nevermind – I see the link. Thanks!
my local safeway store always give me hard time on printable coupons. they set the rule of one of the same printable coupon per transaction, meaning they may not let me use 3 of the same one to get 3 for free.
I’m intrigued by that coupon. Mine printed out blurry and small. What about everyone else? I’ll take my coupons for $1/1 I got from Vocal Point today as back up I think!
I am not seeing how the Fresh Express deal works. The coupon states $2/1 pkg……the pkgs are only $1.49 ea after you buy 3 or more. My safeway does not allow a coupon to be used if it goes over the value of the product
You should ake their coupon policy with you!
1.)….The redemption value will be as stated on the coupon, unless that value yields a final price for such item less than zero; if application of the redemption value yields a price less than zero, the coupon will be redeemed only for the amount that yields a zero price……
basically their policy states they will not give overage, or apply overage to the total, but the coupon should be adjusted down to zero!
Thank you…i will do that!
My coupons wouldn’t even print
I emailed them and he sent me an attachment to be able to print them.
Same. My coupons wouldn’t print. i emailed tony and hopefully he will remedy the situation. I would like to get free salads!
Just used my coupons from the Fresh Connections newsletter and it all worked fine. They were a bit blurry, but my cashier keyed in the UPS and they went in without a problem. I only purchased two of the larger size and one regular size and used 2 coupons. Receipt shows overage of .51 cents on the two bags.
kim, where did you pick up the newslatter? is it at the customer service at your store or near the produce section?
I found them in the produce section, but those coupons say KITS and the kits are not part of the sale. The coupon that prints off, just says bonus packs. I did this today and before I checked out I just informed the cashier I’d printed these from their online newsletter and I was trying to be fradulent
She tried to scan and it didn’t so she manually keyed in the numbers and it worked! I’m pretty sure it will be a YMMV type of deal.
oops was NOT trying to be fraudulent!!!
since my local safeway is SO coupon unfriendly, i printed out the first 4 pages from the magazine link to show them where the coupons are from and on the bottom of the page show the website address. i am so prepared if they question me with the source of the coupon. i really don’t like to shop at my local safeway ‘cuz i ‘ve had all kinds of problem with the coupons i use
I think there are two different coupon flyers because mine says bonus packs not kits
Couldn’t get mine to print either. Guess I will look for the magazine at the store in the produce department.
I printed two and the numbers are the same. So that may be a problem. It was also small and blurry.
i was able to print 2 as well, but the numbers are the same. Is this ok?
Tried printing twice, only thing that printed was tonytomatillo web address.
I printed the coupons. They were small. I went to Safeway and she couldn’t get them to scan. I ended up paying $1.49 a bag and couldn’t use my coupons? What should I do?
My Safeway wouldn’t take the $2 coupons because they exceed the price of the item. Bummer!
make sure you take the policy. It states they should adjust the price
I went to my local Safeway yesterday in Oakland CA and took 3 printouts of the newsletter coupon. They were small but not blurry. It didn’t scan at the register. And the manager on duty said he’s only willing to accept “one coupon per transaction” I left without purchasing and emailed corporate to clarify. I got a response email that didn’t address my issue about the Safeway coupon being too small or about the manager only accepting one coupon per transaction. I then called Safeway customer service and the rep told me that “it’s up to the manager’s discretion how many coupons they want to accept.” I asked if it means Safeways can be inconsistent with coupon policy across the board, and she said yes.
I then further asked, “So does that mean that each Safeway store does not have to comply with the Safeway Coupon Policy at all?” She said “Yes, it’s up to the manager’s discretion.”
So that puts me in disbelief. Why does Safeway have a coupon policy at all if none of the stores have to adhere to it? From now on I am not going to try to use any coupon deals posted at Safeway because I know they probably won’t work.
I printed out 10 coupons and went to Safeway. I got 10 bags of salad, 1 bottle of cranberry juice and 2 gallons of milk. My bill came to $50 and some change. After club card and coupons, I paid only $5.57!!! Then I went a second day. I got 20 bags of salad, 1 bottle of apple juice, 1 package of tortillas, 3 bottles of Gain laundry soap, and 3 bottles of Gain dish soap. My bill came to $120 and some change. After club card, salad coupons, and Gain coupons (from 8/14 SS) I paid $13.55 and got a $3 catalina for my next visit!!! This website rocks!!!
